8/201 Ferry Rd, Southport QLD 4215
Telephone: 07 5591 7155
Eddie’s Crazy Fish Sushi Bar is probably one of the best sushi places around on the Gold Coast. While the look and feel of the restaurant is just like every other places, we find this sushi train outlet presenting slightly more in variety and quantity.
Of course, the restaurant is suitable for both dine-in and takeaway experiences. Open 7 days a week from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM. Eddie’s also offers a VIP reward program where you receive $10 worth of free sushi when you have collected 20 stamps of $10 purchases.
Eddie’s Crazy Fish Sushi Bar is situated on Ferry Road which is fairly accessible if you live around Southport/Bundall areas. It is worthwhile to explore Eddie’s if you are a sushi lover. We certain are and we give Eddie’s a 7 out of 10.

2/54 Thomas Dr, Chevron Island QLD 4217
Telephone: 07 5504 6404
First up: It was terrible! A few days ago we headed out for dinner at Yuuga, but due to severe traffic while passing Chevron Island, we decided to try out this small place by the side of Thomas Drive. The environment and setting were generally pleasant and comforting, but…as soon as the food were served, we immediately felt negative towards the overall experience.
The chicken terriyaki was so salty I had to order a Coke just to bare with the unspeakable horror. Fon ordered something with soft crab and was also disappointed with the quantity of the serving. The meals aren’t terribly expensive but on an average Australian setting you would certainly expect more. The terriyaki set I had which came with steamed rice, vegies, and a choice of hot or cold udon/soba costed around $14 and the soft crab Fon selected costed $12 plus additional charges for a set meal.
It was Friday dinner time and there was one waitress servicing the entire restaurant. Not that the restaurant is big, it comprised of about 10-15 tables. If you are interested to check this place out, be sure to practice your Japanese because the waitress surely had difficulties understanding most of our enquiries. After leaving the restaurant for about 30 minutes I suffered stomach pain followed by loose bowel movement. So I guess if you are having constipation then pay a visit to Soba So Good for a quick fix.
We are convinced to offer a 2 out of 10 for Soba So Good as it is one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever encountered. Reading from their business card you would find that this authentic Japanese restaurant is brought to you by Yoshi & Kei Shibazaki who apparently have produced various other eateries in Japan, Singapore and Australia.

Here are a few shots taken recently while daddy visited us shortly last week.
While daddy was here we had a great time playing soccer. It was a game of girls vs boys and the boys team lost by 10/6. Sadly I had to watch them play since they didn’t allow players with baby walkers. Just you wait…

By default, the unfocused window title bar is rendered semi-transparent. This is particular annoying and bad for some of the low-end systems. Here is a simple way to turn the transparency off.
1. Open the run dialog (Alt+F2) and bring up the gconf-editor.
2. Browse to /apps/gwd/ and set metacity_theme_opacity to 1. By default it’s set to 0.75.

Hey guys! Great to see you again.
Today I travelled with grandma (daddy’s mummy) to Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. It’s my first time here but it’s where daddy grew up. The weather is so hot here and there are so many unfamiliar faces. The first thing I said when grandpa got into the car was “yie yie” (grandpa in Mandarin). Grandpa was so happy and I said it again when we got home. Then I met our hausmeris Mary and Betty who were really excited to see me.
In the evening we dinned out at the Airways and I terrorised the hotel with my talented piano skills. Then I decided to throw everything they give me to the floor but grandpa made me to pick them all up and gave me a very serious talk. When we got back home grandpa taught me how to kill little ants running on the walls and I think I did a pretty good job. For the rest of the evening I kept on switching the TV channels like I did back in Australia which got grandpa really annoyed but I think he will forgive me.
Anyway, I had a great day today. I’m so tired and exhausted. By the way…I wonder where is mummy and daddy? La la la…

Some of the following information are taken from here.
1. Insert USB drive.
2. Run the following command to determine if USB drive is detected.
lsusb
3. If the USB is detected, you can then list the device.
fdisk -l
4. You will be able to see something like “/dev/sdf1″ under “Device”. Remember this.
5. Edit the file /etc/fstab and add the following line with the disk information you obtained in step 3. I created a directory (/media/usb) for my USB drive. You can use whatever you want really, but you must use that when you mount the drive.
/dev/sdf1 /media/usb auto noauto,rw,users 0 0
6. Once you completed all steps above, you can mount and access the USB drive.
mount /media/usb
7. To unmount
umount /media/usb
