Last month Lily and I received our full permanent residency. Hooray!
I had the best present for Christmas ever! It even made me cry because I didn’t expect my hubby to buy me a fantastic coffee machine. It is absolutely easy to use, clean, and conveniently small. It is an excellent coffee making experience with the Nespresso Capsule system and most of all, the taste is fabulous. It feels as if we have our own coffee shop at home. I’ve decided to throw away my Gloria Jeans loyalty card.
Lily and I received our temporary permanent residency status as of today.
I didn’t know today is Mother’s Day until we were shopping at the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre. My darling bought me a gift (thank you ka). We had a small celebration at Gloria Jean’s just like our first date.
It is a little confusing since this is not a restaurant however, we enjoyed the food and service at the Pindara Private Hospital whilst staying there. The food was great and we had many dishes to choose from (we just tick the ones we want). The menu has a good variety including both hot and cold dishes. We enjoyed particularly beef steak with mushroom gravy and roast lamb with oven baked potatoes. The food is fresh, tasty, healthy, and it was enough for both of us! We give Pindara Private Hospital an overall rating of 10 out of 10 for quantity and quality, and moreover, we didn’t spend a cent since it was all covered by Medibank Private.
My graduation ceremony was held today at Calton Crest Hotel in Brisbane. I met a lot of Thai students whom I know. There was one old Thai gay guy who came to me and said, “Sa wa dee kap” and kept talking. Until now I still don’t remember who he is. Do I know him?
Over all, I had a good time. Thanks to my darling Jay, and also thanks to Jimmy for taking me to the graduation ceremony. Here is a picture of R.C Fritschy handing out my testamur.
Today, we went to many places. Starting with Australia Fair, we had lovely ice coffee at BB’s. Then we went to Kmart. We got “I, Robot” on DVD to see tonight. Jay got a diary from Crazy Clark and then we went to Harbour Town shopping centre. We both got new wallets and had lovely dinner there. So, today was a lovely day. Thank you Jay for taking me shopping……
This afternoon, I made yellow curry for Jay and his mum. When Jay tasted it, he said, “Very very spicy! It’s more spicy than last time.” Then he started to cough. Emmmmm……I made everything exactly the same as last time (curry paste, coconut milk, etc). Actually, I put more coconut milk which means that it should be less spicy. I think there is something wrong with Jay.
