This is me and my mummy in front of the Sydney Opera House. I was so grumpy and I didn’t feel like taking photos.
I’m now an Australian permanent resident. Well, the visa was granted 2 weeks ago but I just went in to get the label on my passport. So yeah…no more worries of getting deported.

I was looking for a cool calendar application similar to iCal and I found this one called Calgoo. It is actually quite a good idea since it directly synchronises with Google Calendar. The only reason I uninstalled it is because it took over almost 100MB of my RAM. Not a very useful feature just for a calendaring program. I’m now using Mozilla Thunderbird/Lightning again.

This afternoon mummy and daddy took me to Randwick Medical to have my third immunisation. It included the same vaccination as last time. However, this time the effect was more severe. At around 3:00 AM my temperature went up high and I felt very uncomfortable. Mummy tried to give me some panadol through my milk but I was too smart not to drink it. Then mummy decided to force it down my throat and eventually it ended up all over the floor when I threw up. It is already 5:23 AM and I am so tired but I can’t go to sleep because of the fever and my head is spinning…I hope it will end soon!

Comparing with other Thai restaurants, we find Taste of Thai a little disappointing. While the essence of Thai cuisine is maintained, most of the dishes are prepared to suit the taste of many Australians. I ordered my favourite Thai dish, Chicken Pad Thai and felt that some of the ingredients weren’t so fresh.
In terms of pricing, we find Taste of Thai slightly more expensive. However, like some of the other Thai restaurants, Taste of Thai does free home delivery with a minimum order of $20 between 5:30 PM and 10:00 PM, and a minimum order of $40 between 11:30 AM and 4:00 PM. In a nutshell, we give Taste of Thai an unfortunate rating of 4 out of 10.
I didn’t know today is Mother’s Day until we were shopping at the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre. My darling bought me a gift (thank you ka). We had a small celebration at Gloria Jean’s just like our first date.
After several hours of attempt, I still couldn’t install Symfony on Windows XP. I’m beginning to question my patience. I will attempt again hopefully tomorrow once I re-gain my strength.
I decided to switch back to Winamp for a while since I grew tired of Windows Media Player.
I will go through some of the advantages and disadvantages of both Winamp and WMP.
Winamp
Light and fast. Highly customisable and has large skinning community. Ability to assign global hotkeys for volumn control, play/pause/next/previous, and various other functions. Playlist management can get tricky when music library gets large.
Windows Media Player
Resource hungry and slow even on high-end systems. Search feature is surprisingly good. Ability to filter music based on any meta-data (eg. filter music of multiple genres and exclude individual artists in a single query).
