After an hour of reading the road rules book, I took a written test last Friday. Then I made a booking to do the practical driving test this morning. Everything went well and I got my Australian open licence!
This is me after taking a nice hot bath. Don’t I look cool?
Here are some photos taken recently.
Hi guys, see if you can find my pants.
We dropped dad off at the Brisbane International Airport in the morning and returned to work at 10:00 AM. I finally got my barcode scanner from Toll Priority which I bought from eBay last week. We also completed the slogan below the sign board. It took mum and Fon a good couple of days to prepare but we are quite happy with the final result. I will upload a photo of the sign board and slogan when I get to it.
Today was rather quiet. I dropped Piyada to the academy as usual. Then we spent some time painting the signboard. I did some web development in the afternoon and added some photos to the products page. Dinner consisted of wonton and pizza, and we had a little champagne afterwards to celebrate my mum’s birthday which was on Thursday.
After work, we travelled to Brisbane International Airport and picked up my dad. Once we got home and had something to eat, we then went out for a drive to Surfers Paradise.
This week went so quickly I hardly remember what happened. I had a presentation on Thursday for ECOM20002 and Fon has been busy training at the academy everyday.
Ok, long story short…
Last Friday I flew from Sydney to Gold Coast in the afternoon and we (mum and Jimmy) drove a hired Tarago back to Sydney during the night. We arrived in Sydney on Saturday morning at around 7:00 AM and after returning some furnitures to friends, we spent a whole day packing everything into the car to which we then realised the Tarago was not big enough. So then Jimmy and I drove to the airport and hired a second car, which was a Camry. By the way, I don’t want to go too much into the details of Jimmy getting lost on the way back from the airport.
Anyway, cutting out all the unnecessary details, we loaded everything into the two cars including the passengers (Fon and Lily) and set off at around 5:00 PM. The rest of the trip was just a 12 hours or so drive under the moonlight again. We arrived on the Gold Coast at around 5:00 AM and after unloading all the stuff we managed to return the vehicles and went straight to bed.
